The friendship between Emmanuel Perrotin (owner of Perrotin gallery) and the musician Pharrell Williams has become very productive. The two influent men work together to create an unique exhibition: ‘Girl’ curated by Pharrel. The name of the exhibition is the same of his latest album. The creative exhibition brings together 48 unique artworks for the show ranging Through an expanse of media and aesthetic.
The theme of the collection is femininity. In 37 invited artists to participate in the celebration of women 18 are females like Marina Abramovic & Ulay, Tracey Emin, Yoko Ono and Paola Pivi.
The artist Takashi Murakami made special for the exhibition a large circular painting as a tribute to Pharrel and his wife.
