Did you heard? Joana Vasconcelos exhibition is at Palacio da Ajuda in Lisbon. After the great success at the Versailles in Paris, she’s back to her beloved country, Portugal, to make her biggest exhibition there. The opening was last Friday and counted with about 4.600 people during the first weekend, nothing compared to the 1,679 million people that saw her work at Paris but never the less it’s a great number for Lisbon. Anyway you can visit it until August 25.
The exhibition presents 38 pieces created during the last decade by Joana, and you can count with some of the best like “The Groom” or the “Independent Red Hearth”. Contrasting with the “house” of the old Portuguese monarchy , the exhibition at the Palacio da Ajuda make some kind of chills in your back just of felling all this magnifique ambience … I bet the royalty would love to see it like this!
