Kengo Kuma converts Tokyo Bar into Explosion of Colors

Kengo Kuma and associates signed one more original project in kichijoji, a suburban town outside of tokyo. The japonese architec have designed  a restaurant and bar decorated with a variety of colored cables.
The bar is surrounding still retains the atmosphere of black, market stalls popular during the post-world war II period.

Even the left-over melted acrylic byproducts have been used to furnish the bar, the form of the space to become imperceptible with stools and tables looking like they are floating. The bar, has this huge wall painting by teruhiko yumura complements the scheme with his punk manga motifs serving as the backdrop.
