Chicago-based painter, Bruce Riley, is the author of a outstanding collection of colourful resin paintings, which he named Nebula. Movement and flow plays a big role in the work of this artist, who mixes a large range of techniques in order to achieve this mesmerising effect we can see in this collection. Similar to the way in which marble paper is made, Riley drips, blows and brushes his paints onto a flat surface, while they are still wet. This means that once the painting begins it cannot be stopped, or the paint will dry and it becomes impossible to mix more colours in.
