For FG Stijl, designing for people was a seedling idea from which sprung countless three-dimensional experiences, and now, more than a decade on, it is the expression of their interior design projects.
Designed for people – perhaps an obvious sentiment, but one that is often forgotten in an era when design saturates day-to-day life. They create every project anew, for our clients and for their guests.
In March 2015 the team celebrated the 20th anniversary. The first decade produced a prolific body of work, the culmination of which was expressed in their native Amsterdam’s award-winning The College Hotel, which opened in 2005. These efforts secured the Prix Villégiature award for ‘Best Hotel Interior Design in Europe’. A decade later (2015), FG stijl reclaimed the prize with the flagship Park Hyatt Vienna dubbed a “Pearl of Vienna” for the Best Interior Design for a Hotel in Europe.
From these strong foundations, the growth of FG stijl as a full-service interior design raised as an agency commissioned to work on major hotel brands such as Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Sheraton, and Jumeirah. The company work also includes exceptional private residences around the world, landmark projects such as BMW Welt and the Albertina Museum, and the private jet lounge at Schiphol International Airport.
FG Stijl says: “Our projects span hotels, restaurants, spas, private residences, lounges, retail and museums, across Europe, Asia and The Middle East, demonstrating a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary capability to meet the design requirements of any project.”
The company is one of the best in the field in Netherlands.
