Patricia Piccini is known all around the world for her “mutation” of the hyperrealist human, or you may say, anthropomorphized forms that are inspired by her research about tissue engineering. Using foam, silicon, paints and human hair the sculptures look so real that it’s even strange to face them. You will always ask yourself “Is it really a sculpture, or its a quite person with some abnormalities?”.

Duffy London designed the table that is right now in the mouths of the world. It’s a mesmerizing table that looks like ocean depths as the designer took those as inspiration. Duffy called this artistic table “Abyss table”. To create this visual effect, the table is made of multiple layers of stacked glass and wooden slices.

China has a long tradition of wooden sculptures. For centuries they are  transforming pieces of raw wood into works of inspiring art , but none as impressive as the sheer creation of Zheng Chunhui . This talented Chinese artist spent the last four years meticulously carving a detailed replica of a famous traditional Chinese painting called ” Along the River during the Qingming Festival ” in the trunk of a little over 12 feet long tree.
