Zaha Hadid is no stranger to international fairs, and more than one of her objects are presented at them every year, but at this Isaloni the Avia and Aria lamp for slamp was one of the most wanted in the Euroluce pavilions. Featuring the intrinsic weightlessness of the materials, she created a sculpture of light and technology that fascinates and enchants observers.
It combines 50 individual layers of cristalflex (a techno-polymer) working together to make the hanging lights seem as if they are about to take flight. You can clearly feel the architecture of the lamp that thanks to the large fixtures formed from a central structure it’s capable of flooding the entire room with 360 degrees of ample illumination.
It’s an majestic sculpture brought to us by the one and the only Zaha Hadid, it’s available in four different sizes, the pieces are capable of adapting to any kind of interior environment, having two small sizes perfect for any regular home, and two larger for huge rooms that need great lightning presence.
